At age five, Peter saw his first Irish step dancer and decided that he wanted to
learn how to make a racket with his feet in this extraordinary way. His first lessons were
short-lived (his teacher controlled her students by threatening them with a stick).
Fortunately, this did not dampen Peter’s enthusiasm, and he has continued his
tutelage with some of the best dancers available. In addition to learning Irish steps,
Peter has had the opportunity to spend time on Cape Breton Island where he mastered that
distinctive style of step-dancing. Peter performs with his siblings in their band, Dark
Horse. When not dancing, Peter can be found playing his fiddle or sitting in front of
the computer.
