Greene Beth Greene was introduced to Irish dancing at the age of four in Dublin, the city of her birth. She studied with Cora Caldwell until the age of ten when she moved on to dance under the direction of the late Peter Bolton. During the following years, Beth competed at many Feisanna all over Ireland and accumulated a number of medals at the All Ireland Dancing Championships. Beth moved to Canada in 1974 and, during the spring of 1988, formed the Metro School of Irish Dance in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which continues to flourish today with a membership of 79 students. |
