February 15, 1999 The reservation period for Irish Week ’99 begins ($75US per person for reservations)
May 30, 1999 Last day that cancellations can be made for reduced fee ($25)
July 1, 1999 Balance of tuition payment ($350 US per person) is due
July 4-16, 1999 First children’s session at the Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

July 18-30, 1999 Second children’s session at the Gaelic College of Celtic Arts and Crafts in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. See above for details. Several Irish Week children will be attending this session to study fiddle, piano, and step dancing
July 25-31, 1999 Irish Week instructor Chris Norman is hosting his own flute camp, Boxwood, in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, a 45-minute drive east of Beach Meadows. In 1998, several Irish Week registrants attended both weeks.

August 1, 1999 Irish Week ’99 begins with registration from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, followed by supper, a dance, and a session.
August 3, 1999 Irish Week Public Event –Irish Week Instructor’s Concert in the Astor Theatre, Liverpool, Nova Scotia, 8pm
August 5, 1999 Irish Week Public EventIrish Week Student Concert in the Fire Hall in Port Medway, Nova Scotia to benefit The Children’s Friendship Project for Northern Ireland.
August 7, 1999 Irish Week ’99 ends after breakfast with your host family or on your own. Many registrants enjoy visiting the village of Lunenburg, a UN World Heritage Site, where the Lunenburg Folk Harbor Festival will be in its last day offering concerts in the Bandstand and on the pier as well as evening concerts under a tent.
